Course Prerequisites

PMP® candidates must have a “Bachelors or first degree in any discipline” or equivalent, INCLUSIVE of the following:

  • At least 4,500 hours of professional experience in managing projects, AND
  • At least 35 contact hours of formal project management education (this course provides 35 hours of project management education)

For those who could not fulfill the above academic requirement, candidates must have at least a minimum “high school certificate” INCLUSIVE of the following:

  • At least 7,500 hours of professional experience in managing projects, AND
  • At least 35 contact hours of formal project management education (this course provides 35 hours of project management education)

About the Certification

  • The PMP® examination is taken separately and can be booked through Prometric test centres
  • The examination consists of 200 multiple choice answers, and to be completed within 4 hours

Certification

By attending this course, the PMP® candidates will have achieved the following:

  • 35 Professional Development Units (PDUs)
  • 35 hours of formal training towards the PMP®
  • PMP® test fee is at USD505 (for PMI member), USD555 (non-member) payable to PMI
  • The PMP® credential is maintained through acquiring 60 PDUs over a period of 3 years from the date of passing the examination
