This 2-day Essentials course helps you learn about the tools and features available in Adobe Premiere Pro. We will help you understand how this industry-leading program takes digital-video editing to a new level.

With our guidance, you will learn the fundamentals of non-linear editing techniques to create and edit video output that combines footage, audio, and still images.

Course Prerequisites

This course is intended for those who need to edit video clips and create digital movies, but who have little or no experience using Premiere Pro or other video-editing programs.

You will need basic PC or Mac skills, including a solid understanding of a computer's operating system (Windows or Mac OS). You will also need to know how to launch a program, create and save files, and copy files from CDs and other media.

What is Adobe Certified Professional?

Adobe Certified Professional is an industry-recognized certification that demonstrates mastery of Adobe Creative Cloud software and foundational knowledge for digital media careers. Each certification is tied to one Creative Cloud application. Exams are developed and delivered by Certiport, a Pearson VUE business.

 

When does my certification expire?

Each certification becomes non-current three years from the date of issue.

 

How do I take an exam?

There are two ways to access Adobe Certified Professional exams: either by contacting a Certiport Authorized Testing Center or by taking an online exam through Certiport’s new OnVUE online delivery option.

What is the format of Adobe Certified Professional exams?

Each 50-minute exam includes a Questions section with selected-response items followed by a Tasks section with live-in-the-app activities inside real Adobe software.

 

How much experience is required to pass an exam?

Candidates are expected to have at least 150 hours of instruction and hands-on experience in an application prior to earning the certification.

 

 

I just passed an exam! What happens now?

Upon passing an exam, candidates receive an official certificate through their Certiport.com account and an invitation from Credly to claim a digital badge.

Adobe Certified Professionals are encouraged to share their achievement with the world by adding digital badges to portfolios, resumes, LinkedIn pages, and social profiles.

Certiport will also send a congratulatory email with resources to support further learning and career growth.
